Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Flunivo, a language-speaking practice app. By creating an account or using Flunivo, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1. Your account

You need an account to use Flunivo. Give us accurate information, keep your password safe, and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live (at least 16 in most countries), or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

2. Using Flunivo fairly

Please don't:

  • break the law, or harass, threaten or harm anyone;
  • submit hateful, sexual or violent content, or other people's private information;
  • try to get around daily limits or paid features, for example with multiple accounts, scripts or automated requests;
  • copy, resell or scrape Flunivo or its AI output at scale;
  • attack, overload or try to break into the service.

3. AI-generated content

Topics, feedback, corrections and chat replies are created by AI (Google Gemini). They're meant to help you practise, but they can be wrong, incomplete or sound unnatural. Don't rely on them for exams, legal, medical or professional decisions. Scores are a practice guide, not an official language certificate.

What you say or type is sent to our AI provider to produce feedback, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Plans, limits and payments

  • Free accounts get a small number of spins and AI requests each day. Paid plans (Pro and Max) raise these limits and unlock extra features, as shown on the pricing page.
  • Daily limits reset every day at midnight UTC. Unused spins don't carry over.
  • Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. Prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are handled by Stripe.
  • We may change prices. If we do, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and the new price applies only from that renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we may keep your plan active for a short time while Stripe retries; if it keeps failing, your account moves to Free.

5. Cancelling and refunds

  • You can cancel any time on your Subscription page. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
  • You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, your account moves to Free. You can undo a cancellation before that date.
  • Payments are non-refundable, including for the current period, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund.

6. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll explain why. If you think we made a mistake, contact us. Suspending an account doesn't automatically cancel a subscription.

You can delete your account any time in Settings. This cancels any subscription and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Your content and ours

Your answers, flashcards and messages stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Flunivo for you (for example, to give feedback and show your progress). The Flunivo name, logo, design and app are ours; please don't copy them.

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep Flunivo available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or right for every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

9. Changes to Flunivo and these terms

We may improve, change or stop features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Flunivo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
