About Flunivo
Flunivo is a web app for one thing: getting you to speak the language you're learning, out loud, a little every day, with feedback that tells you what to fix.
Why Flunivo exists
Most language learners can read and understand far more than they can say. Apps train recognition: tap the right word, match the picture, fill the gap. Speaking is a different skill. You have to choose words, build the sentence and get the grammar right in real time, and you only get better at that by doing it.
The hard part is having something to talk about and someone to tell you how it went. Flunivo gives you both. The wheel picks a topic at your level, you answer for a minute or two, and you see straight away what worked and what didn't.
How the feedback works
When you speak, your browser's speech recognition turns your voice into text. Flunivo sends that text, with your topic, language and level, to Google Gemini, which scores your fluency, grammar and vocabulary, rewrites the sentences you got wrong with a short explanation, and suggests more natural words.
Because the feedback works from text, it doesn't judge your pronunciation or accent. It's about what you said: whether it was correct, natural and varied. Like any AI, it can occasionally get something wrong, so treat a surprising correction as a reason to double-check rather than a final verdict.

Your answers and your data
Flunivo receives the text of your answers, not a recording of your voice. We use it to give you feedback and to show your progress, we don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell your data. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings. The details are in the privacy policy.
