Practice speaking French with instant AI feedback
French rewards practice out loud: sentences that look simple on paper ask you to juggle genders, agreements and verb forms in real time. Short daily speaking turns those rules into habits.
What to focus on when speaking French
Gender and agreement
Every noun is masculine or feminine, and adjectives follow: “un petit café”, “une petite maison”. Speaking forces you to know the gender before you finish the sentence.
Passé composé or imparfait
“J’ai visité Paris” for a completed action, “il faisait beau” for the scene. You also choose between avoir and être: “je suis allé”, not “j’ai allé”.
Tu or vous
Choosing the right level of formality matters in French. Practise both, and keep your verbs consistent once you’ve chosen.
