Practice speaking Spanish with instant AI feedback
Spanish is one of the most useful languages to speak, from Madrid to Mexico City to Buenos Aires. Many learners can read and understand far more than they can say. Speaking practice closes that gap: you get a topic, answer out loud, and find out which choices you got right.
What to focus on when speaking Spanish
Ser or estar
Both mean “to be”. When you speak, you choose in a split second, and mixing them up (“soy cansado” instead of “estoy cansado”) is one of the most common mistakes.
Telling stories in the past
Stories need two past tenses: the preterite for what happened (“fui”) and the imperfect for the background (“hacía calor”). Describing a trip is the fastest way to practise switching between them.
The subjunctive
Wishes, doubts and opinions trigger it: “espero que vengas”, “no creo que sea verdad”. It feels hard on paper and gets easier once you say it often.
Example Spanish speaking topics
Spin the wheel and you might get one of these. Answer out loud for a minute or two.

Living Anywhere for 1 Year
Si pudieras vivir en cualquier lugar durante un año, ¿dónde vivirías y por qué?
Tip for Spanish learners
Answer “what would you do if…” questions. They make you use the conditional (“viviría”) and the past subjunctive (“si pudiera”) in the same sentence.
