Practice speaking Italian with instant AI feedback
Italian is a joy to speak, and most learners get comfortable with the sounds quickly. The challenge is keeping verb forms and little words like “del” and “nella” right while you talk.
What to focus on when speaking Italian
Essere or avere in the past
The passato prossimo uses either auxiliary: “ho mangiato” but “sono andato”. With essere, the ending agrees too: “sono andata”.
Articles joined to prepositions
“Di” + “il” becomes “del”, “in” + “la” becomes “nella”. They come up in almost every sentence, so they need to become automatic.
The congiuntivo
Opinions use it: “penso che sia vero”, “credo che abbia ragione”. Sharing your views is the best way to practise it.
